Super 8mm film is the original wedding video for anyone who got married in the late 70's or early 80's. Ask your grandmother if she was lucky enough to have her wedding day captured on super 8. Usually, it was the geeky uncle, ahead of the game, interested in technology who was the one holding the camera ( of course, nobody else was allowed to touch it due to its complexity and hi-tech features) Super 8mm followed in the footsteps of Double 8mm but due to its more cost-effective design, quickly climbed to the top.
This is me, Brad Black. The social introvert. I started using Super 8mm in 2013. Since then, my love for this dreamy format has grown into a completely hand-crafted experience. Super 8 films made with love for my unique couples. I begin by shooting your wedding or elopement, then carefully hand process the film in my lab. Once the processing is done I complete a frame-by-frame scan to convert it to a moving digital image. When the scanning is complete I head to the editing studio, close the curtains, and begin to create a one-of-a-kind wedding film. Only once I'm satisfied with the final result do I see the light of day. I regularly travel to all parts of Australia so no matter where you're having a wedding or elopement I'd love to be there.
